25 minutes into the 2nd half and K.C had stormed their way down the field to where their Prop Big man A. Orzecki crashed through the P.C defence to score right under the posts.
Tainui Brown came on for P.C at Half-time making a couple of carving runs from Left Wing and a bone crunching tackle on his opposite jersey, however lack of support lead to wasted opportunities.
Five minutes later with strong driving from P.C Forwards off their line-out, Max Thomson made a spectacular dive over the Ruck to score P.C’s first Try, which was converted by James Bailey.
K.C responded when Year 10 Hinks Leiataua scored in the corner. Two minutes later the young gun scored a breakaway try to run half the field and seal the game for Kāpiti College. Another stand out player was K.C’s Brandyn Laursen, the Centre made numerous thundering runs, using size and strength to bust through P.C’s backline.
P.C’s Steven Zorab was awarded a penalty try after being head highed just short of K.C’s tryline, which James Bailey converted on the Full-time whistle.
