A 39-year-old man has been arrested and charged following a police search in Karori linked to the alleged importation of controlled drugs.
Detective Sergeant Scott Rankin said Wellington CIB executed a search warrant at a Karori address on Wednesday.
Police found evidence they say relates to the importation, manufacture, possession and possession for supply of controlled drugs.


Items located included about 4kg of dried material containing dimethyltryptamine, known as DMT, as well as cannabis and magic mushrooms.
Specialist staff assisted Police with the search.
The man faces charges including attempting to import controlled drugs and possession for supply.
He is due to reappear in the Wellington District Court on 27 August.
