Wellington motorists can expect a series of overnight lane and ramp closures next week as state highway works continue around Te Aro and Ngauranga.
On Vivian Street, the southbound lane between Cuba Street and Tory Street will be closed on Wednesday and Thursday nights from 7pm until 5.30am for utilities work.
At Ngauranga, the southbound off-ramp will be closed from Sunday to Thursday nights between 9pm and 4.30am for Jarden Mile project works.
Further traffic management will be in place around the Ngauranga northbound on-ramp from Sunday to Thursday nights between 7pm and 5.30am.
Drivers travelling between Wellington and the Hutt Valley will also encounter a northbound lane closure on SH2 near the Horokiwi Road turn-off on Tuesday night from 7pm until 5am while streetlight poles are replaced.
The work is part of NZTA Waka Kotahi’s state highway programme for Saturday 15 August to Friday 21 August.
Roadworks are weather dependent and may be postponed at short notice.
